Discover Why Students with Learning Differences Excel in the U.S.

Schools and Programs in the United States                                                             Supporting Students with Learning Differences

Students with Learning Differences are excelling in schools in the United States because there is recognition here that with the right support and guidance, these students can be top performers and go on to have successful careers.

The United States is far ahead of the rest of the world in providing the academic, social and emotional support that students need to succeed.

I've been helping families outside the United States navigate the process of finding the right schools, completing the applications and once accepted, easing the transition into becoming a college student in the United States.

Why Study in the United States?

In the United States, your child will receive the world’s most advanced educational environment for students with learning differences. Here your child can receive one-on-one tutoring from learning specialists for a variety of subjects. Coaches can help your child stay organized, learn to problem solve and develop skills that will help them become fully independent and successful. There is also support to assist with social adjustments like making friends and adapting to the American lifestyle.

Are all Schools the Same?

Depending on your child’s specific needs and interests, one school may be more appropriate than another. My job is to help assess your child’s needs and interests and to help filter through the choices, to find a fit that will assure academic, social and emotional success. I have years of experience working with boarding schools and colleges throughout the United States. Each search is individualized, taking into consideration your child’s needs, interests, and cultural background.

Services Include:

  • Informal Assessments that gauge your child’s Academic, Emotional and Social needs
  • Thorough Records Review and Liaising with the professionals who assess your child’s situation.
